Jouée à la guitare acoustique — et c'est ici encore plus évident —, Cold Winters of Mortebrumes est dans le prolongement de Autumn Rehearsal '21 avec une solitude beaucoup plus marqué ; Royaume des Brumes prends même un soin particulier à éviter de jouer des accords (ça s'entend sur certaines pistes comme "untitled I", "untitled IV") pour amplifier ce sentiment.
